We are aware of recent phishing attacks on our customers. These take the form of an email claiming to be from Tiscali and asking recipients of the email to click on a link within it in order to effect either a 'billing update' or a 'security update' or to enter information on a spurious website to verify their credit card or payment details or to effect an upgrade to their Tiscali Broadband.
The latest scams
These are sent from either
upd@tiscmail.co.uk or uktiscali@secure.co.uk. These scam emails are not from Tiscali and are not endorsed by us. The links within these emails lead to sites designed to steal your identity.
What should I do?
Do not open the email click on any links within this, or similar emails, do not reply to the email and defintely do not divulge your payment or login details or password.
Clicking on links within such emails may cause spyware to be downloaded to your PC. Spyware is a malicious program designed to steal your identity.
Phishing is an attempt to fraudulently acquire sensitive information, such as usernames, passwords and credit card details, by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication. Find out

If you need to update your personal or payment details with Tiscali please do this by going directly to the www.tiscali.co.uk website and logging in to the secure
My Account area by using the URL
www.tiscali.co.uk/myaccount, or call one of our help lines and an agent will be happy to assist you.
Please do not follow the links in emails that ask you to update your billing information or account details.
Tiscali does not contact you by email asking you to update sensitive personal details.
